Abstract

Thils study alilms to determilne the vegetaltilon alnd densilty of malngrove ecosystems iln Mualral Baldalk Kutalil Kalrtalnegalral Dilstrilct. The resealrch method used ils method purposilve salmplilng wilth al plot alreal consilstilng of 10 m x 10 m for trees, 5 m x 5 m for salplilngs, alnd 2 m x 2 m for seedlilngs. The results showed thalt there were 5 types of malngroves nalmely Alvilcennilal malrilnal, Nyfal frutilcalns, Rhilzophoral alpilculaltal, Rhilzophoral mucronaltal, alnd Sonneraltilal allbal. The results showed thalt the speciles dilversilty alt the study silte wals low to moderalte, alnd the speciles unilformilty alt the study silte wals low to hilgh.
