Potensi Nypa Fruticans Di Pesisir Barat Aceh Propinsi Aceh
Abstract
Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan 05 Februari – 05 Maret Tahun 2022 selama 30 hari di ekosistem Nypa friticans pesisir Aceh Barat yang meliputi Kabupaten Aceh Barat (Kula Bubon) dan Kabupaten Nagan Raya (Kuala Trang) di pesisir barat Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai N. fruticans di kawasan Pantai Barat Aceh, meliput: deskripsi, habitat, kerapatan, dan luas areal N. fruticans. Penentuan stasiun dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode transek garis yang digunakan sebagai titik acuan pengambilan sampel. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Habitat nipah adalah daerah sepanjang pantai sampai sungai dengan jenis air yang tidak lagi asin. Rata-rata kualitas air pada kedua lokasi penelitian, yakni Kuala Bubon dan Kuala Tadu berada pada rentang: pH tanah pH antara 6,5-6,8, salinitas 13,3 ppt-17,6 (ppt ), DO 11,7-13.5 (mg/L), kecerahan 38 - 67,3 (cm), aliran 0,9 (s/m) - 1,8 (s/m), dan pH tanah 5,1-6,3. Luas lahan yang ditumbuhi vegetasi N. fruticans sekitar 166 ha di Kuala Bubon dan 20 ha di Kuala Tadu. Tingkat kepadatan N. fruticans di kedua lokasi memiliki kepadatan yang berbeda. Rata-rata kerapatan pohon di Kuala Bubon adalah 13.220 (ind/ha), 3.200 pancang (ind/ha), 114.000 bibit (ind/ha). Kondisi ini berbeda dengan kondisi kerapatan rata-rata di Kuala Tadu yang memiliki tingkat kerapatan 2.480 (ind/ha) pada tingkat pohon, 3.120 (ind/ha) pada tingkat pancang dan 78.000 (ind/ha) pada tingkat bibit.
